Infocurve Lite How cool does this Infocurve Lite look at a recent installation for Best Wayfinding?

The project was for a private school in the Midlands, with a need to empathise with some of the very old buildings and new contemporary ones.  It was a great project to work on, despite the very exacting standards from the customer. The work required Main signs which were Infocurve, smaller signs that would be seen on foot, using Infocurve Lite, together with folded trays – all manufactured and powder coated at our premises in Bristol.

The MD of Best Wayfinding is an expert in mapping (in 2D & 3D), should you need any help on this, please contact Michael Best directly @ sales@bestwayfinding.co.uk

This year seems to have flown by – or is that what happens when you start getting older? We have lots of new things planned for next year and am looking forward to sharing these with everyone. Donna will be off on maternity leave at the end of February/beginning of March. We are also delighted to let you know Mike Sergeant will be rejoining us again in January.

We will be closing on Thursday 23rd December 2010 and re-open on Tuesday 4th January 2011.

I hope you all have a good holiday and are refreshed and invigorated for 2011, from all the team at Signscape Systems, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Hamish wins Avon head race with Bristol

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010

Katie, James, Alex, Ian & Hamish from City of Bristol Rowing Club

I thought I would share this with everyone – I’m sitting in the bow (top of your picture – with the brown woolly hat). This picture shows us at the Fours Head in London a few weeks ago. We also just raced in one of our local races at Avon and broke the course record – chuffed to bits. The race is about 7k and we completed it in a time of 25:58.56.

When we started the race it was -7 degrees, but warmed up to a balmy -3 by the end!

Back to training for races in February, will keep you posted – anybody else crazy enough to be on the water first thing in the mornings, or in the evenings then let me know :)

Solar Powered Sign at night

Solar Powered Noticeboard @ night Photograph of our Solar Powered Noticeboard taken at night. It is really difficult to take good photos at night, the best way to see these is in location – if you would like to come over to see any of our Ecovision units at night, just let us know – it’s dark from about 4.30pm now.

Signscape BBQ in October??

Monday, October 11th, 2010

Had a lovely BBQ for all the staff on Friday (forgot to take some photos, which was a shame). Sue’s marinated chicken went down a storm and I don’t think my cooking poisoned anyone. We had a few of the local sign companies turn up, which was great and a few of the boys, took to the local Public House to carry on the goodwill.

Thanks to all those that attended (& who nicked all the chocolate brownies??)

Hamish
