Eco School uses “EcoVision”

Wednesday, January 7th, 2009

We recently undertook a project with GroundPlug (UK) Ltd in which we supplied one of our Solar Powered Noticeboards - EcoVision, complete with Cross Spears to install into the ground. The school has a very robust environmental policy and wanted an illuminated board - without the need for electricity, or running cables through what was already a congested set of underground services. The unit was fitted with a PIR system that will only activate when there is movement in front of the Noticeboard. They were delighted with the outcome - as we were, especially as one of the chaps installing the sign was in his seventies and still managed to install the sign in under one hour!

Fettling

Lee "fettling"

Caught Lee fettling this morning! (preparing metal for paint), I’m still getting used to West Country Speak… I simply asked for Lee and one of the lads shouts out “where’s he to?” I shall continue with my Somerset language course shortly…

Post & Panel

Post & Panel

”I have used Signscape’s Modular Post & Panel system on a number of school sign projects. The system allows for flexibility in design with a range of post options, panel sizes and fabricated & custom shaped panels. Help and advice on the range of components is always available from a friendly team in the Bristol factory. The signs always arrive on time, ready to assemble and apply vinyl graphics to the high quality paint surface.
Because I always specify Lynester notice boards, which, according to my customers, are exceptional quality notice boards, I can be certain of continuity in design by using the same post profiles and header panels.”
